The hospice has been very supportive to both myself and my children since my diagnosis of breast cancer and with the knowledge that their care is purely funded by donations, I have accepted the challenge to 'Trek India - Himalayan Challenge' and hope to raise as much money as I can by 31st July 2011.  The challenge involves volunteering work in a cancer centre in Delhi and a trek in the Himalayas. I will be organising various fundraising events between now and the trip.  The hospice relies completely on donations for its funds and all their care is provided free of charge.
