Story

Today marks the 6th anniversary of my big sister, Eunice’s death to breast cancer, age just 48.  She was the most positive, funny, thoughtful and caring sister, daughter, auntie and friend and all our lives were truly enhanced by the special times we shared with her. Eunice and I relied on the Edinburgh Maggie’s Centre for support after her diagnosis and during her lengthy treatment and in return I now regularly volunteer at the Maggie’s Forth Valley.

For my birthday next month, I have decided that I want to do something totally different! I am soaring the heights and abseiling off the iconic Falkirk Wheel to raise money for Maggie's Forth Valley.

I’m asking my family and friends to please donate what you can instead of birthday presents so we can help Maggie's support people with cancer.

Wish me luck!

Yvonne ❤️
