John and I are trekking 100km into the Arctic Circle in subzero temperatures. We are doing this in memory of my mum, Elaine, who passed away at the age of 59 following a long battle with cancer. As a way of honouring mum's memory, we are raising funds for the hospice who were there for us in every way possible. They provide superhuman care and support to so many in their darkest of days. St Columba's is an independent charity and depend on raising £9million every year. For this reason, we have an ambitious fundraising target but any money you can spare for this cause will be money well spent. Suggested donation £30 which helps pay for volunteers training. £100 pays for a nurse for one day. Please give as generously as you can.
