Story
Hi everyone,
As you all know my mum sadly passed away from cancer last june. We have all found this past year a very difficult and trying time and in particular my wee boy Joe who was extremely close to his Nana. He has found it hard to cope and he misses her very much.
Thankfully we were directed to a wonderful place called Richmond Hope, which is a charity based project that actively helps and supports children through the bereavement process. Joe has been working closely with his key worker Kirsten and she has been a massive support.
They do not charge families for this service, but It costs a lot of money for each child that Richmond Hope has in their care. In return Joe has decided he wants to give something back. He has been inspired by many aunties and uncles doing 10ks and half marathons and as a result he has chosen to do the junior 2.5k Bupa Great Winter Run around Arthurs Seat.I am so proud of my amazing wee boy for training hard and being so strong.
I know it is a financially bad time of year to ask anyone to donate to charity but even a small amount will help and Joe and I would be so greatful if you could.
