New York, New York

 

We did it!!

 

The challenge - 50 mile around FLAT New York - the reality - 20 miles around FLAT New York and 30 miles trying to find every hill possible, which I think we did.  ( Thanks for saying it was all flat Dad, I should of known from our training rides...)

 

It was a brilliant route taking in The Lincoln Tunnel, along The Hudson River and around New Jersey.  That was where the hills started and didn't seem to end till we crossed The George Washington Bridge and headed back to downtown Manhattan.

 

We both had a wonderful time, meeting some lovely people and all the time raising money for The MS Society.

 

5500 people took part and in total they will raise nearly $3 million.

 

We hope to raise £3000 when all donations are collected.
