On the 25th of September I will be running the Run to the Beat half marathon in Greenwich with my friends Chris and Damo to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, the only charity in the UK solely dedicated to research into blood cancers.

 

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.

 

To offer you an idea of how your sponsorship can help: 

 

- £10 will buy a simple kit to extract DNA from blood cells allowing them to identify genetic defects that can help them understand and treat blood cancers

- £100 will support a PhD student for one day to conduct vital research into blood cancers

 

So please dig deep and donate now. If you would like to show your support, the half-marathon will kickoff at 9:45 am at O2 Arena. There will be 14 different acts playing music on various stages along the route, so it's sure to be a blast!
