Story
As you may know, I climbed the highest national peaks of the UK, Ben Nevis (2015), Snowdon (2016), Scafell Pike (2017) plus Pen Y Fan (2018) and was so grateful for your support back then and I reach out to you once again... this is the big one and I am really going to need your help this time!
I'm trekking through the Himalaya to Everest Base Camp to support Penny Appeal's Emergency Response campaign. It's going to be one of the toughest challenges of my life; in this 12 day 130km trek facing temperatures of up to -20°c, I will be reaching heights of 18,221ft / 5,644m climbing the highest mountain in the world to help people who are facing crisis, war and displacement.
Help us protect and save thousands of families from the devastating effects of natural disasters and conflict. War, famine, disease, poverty & climate change have immobilised communities in Myanmar, Syria, Yemen, Gaza, Indonesia and East Africa, and Penny Appeal need your support to be able to deploy life-saving medical aid, food, clothing, sanitation and shelter to those who've been left incredibly vulnerable.
It's going to take a huge effort but with determination, training and your support and donations, I know that together, we can make a difference! And please remember that your donation is 100% Zakat eligible too!
I have already personally funded my flights, accommodation and all expedition expenses so 100% of your donation will go directly via JustGiving to Penny Appeal Emergency Response to reach the people who desperately need our help.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
It would mean so much to me to have your support, so please follow my journey and donate as much or as little as you can. Anything you can spare will make a huge difference to those less fortunate than us so please, please help those in need. May you be rewarded abundantly In'shaa'Allah (God willing).
Jazak'Allah'Khayran / Thank you!
