Story
To kickstart Marie Curie's 'Go Yellow' Day and fundraising month, I will be dressing up as an inflatable dinosaur in the London KPMG Office on the 9th March, selling pins and baked goods, aiming to fundraise £1000 to support Marie Curie's mission.
For those who aren't familiar with Marie Curie's mission, Marie Curie is a charity who supports people living with a terminal illness in their homes and in hospices across the UK and provides information and emotional support to thousands of people a year through national support services.
One way you could support is by donating:
£3 could pay for a nourishing meal at one of Marie Curie's hospices
£20 could pay for an hour of vital nursing care for someone with a terminal illness
£32 could pay for a call to our Support Line, meaning someone in need can pick up the phone and receive practical information and emotional support
£64 could pay for an hour of bereavement support from a trained professional, giving people time and space to process their grief
£104 could heat a hospice for a day, bringing warmth and comfort to patients staying at one of Marie Curie’s nine hospices
£180 could pay for a Marie Curie Nurse to care overnight for someone in their home, giving family members chance to rest and be in the moment with their loved one
Thank you so much for any donations and please feel free to reach out if you would like further information on Marie Curie's mission :)
Much love
