We support 16-25 year olds in London to prevent them from homelessness

Story

Dear friends of YRM,

Following on from the success of last year, YRM is once again fielding a team of 4 runners in the London Marathon in support of Alone in London. Team YRM has put in many miles of training over the winter months and is looking forward to putting it into practice come April 26.

We understand these are difficult times economically but would like to prevail upon all our clients, consultants and contacts to please dig deep and give generously in support of our effort. A £150 for Alone in London brings a young person and his or her family together for mediation so that bridges can be rebuilt between them, while £200 provides 90 pupils with an understanding of the dangers of running away from home, the skills to defuse conflict at home- the main cause of young people running away, and knowledge about where to go to get help if they cannot cope.

Thank you for visiting YRM's fundraising page. Your donation allows Alone in London to continue their commendable work in the prevention of youth homelessness.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor YRM: Alone in London gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation - so please sponsor us now!
