Supporting Young Carers in Powys
As a Carer myself, the work carried out by Credu is very close to my heart.
Credu supports Carers of all ages in Powys and provides advice, support, advocacy, social and respite opportunities and the chance for Carers to better connect with each other and their communities.
In particular I have chosen to support Young Carers who face numerous challenges in their lives - one of which is people's lack of awareness about Young Carers and the vital role they play in caring for their loved ones.
As a Credu Outreach Worker, I support Young Carers as young as 5 who help to look after a family member. Any money that I help to raise will go directly towards supporting them to have the childhood they deserve; so that they can be given the chance to play, relax, have fun and enjoy being them!

The Rotary Across Wales Walk is a challenging 42 mile long walk from Machynlleth to Anchor which is completed in a single day. For more information visit: www.rotaryacrosswaleswalk.org
One of the key elements of Credu's work is about connecting Carers. I know the importance of having a strong network around you when life gives you challenges and this walk is no different! I couldn't do it alone, and am very grateful to be walking alongside my brilliant friends Jude Boutle, Sue Cox, Molly Gough and Olivia Capadose.
Any donation, no matter how big or how small will help to make a difference to the lives of Young Carers in Powys.
Thanks.
