Story

The Young Professionals are doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on the 20th August to raise money for our charity partner, CPSL Mind.

The challenge is to climb the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire, Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, totaling a walking distance of 39.2km and 1600m of climbing, all within 12hrs!

1 in 4 of us will experience mental health issues in any given year and suicide is the biggest cause of death in men under 49 and women under 35.

CPSL Mind supported 4,310 people during 2020/21, providing vital support to the community in form of over 1,230 hours of group support, roughly 400 hours of training and workshops attended by 2,281 participants! CPSL Mind also provided 2,261 hours of counseling and had 3,495 visits to their Sanctuaries, where they were able to successfully de-escalate their visitors' crises on 94% of occasions!

CPSL Mind and their services have a very real impact on the lives of local people, organisations and community groups so any support you can give us on this challenge would be truly and sincerely appreciated. Thank you.

All monies raised for our Charity Partners are matched by the company (subject to available funds).
