We have been together for a long time and feel very fortunate that we have set up our family home and have everything we need.

We are also thankful everyday that we have three very beautiful and healthy children, especially with the risks involved when having Twins.

Therefore we ask, that if you were going to buy us a card and a gift, please could you instead donate that money to the wonderful Charity ‘Emily’s Star’.

Emily’s Star is a charity local to us and they support a nursing team for Children with Complex Needs in the Milton Keynes area. They grant wishes to families who have a child or children with any life limiting or life threatening illness to help make memories. They provide neonatal boxes to local neonatal units, which include items for both mum and premature or underweight babies. They are also raising awareness of Trisomy 18 also known as Edwards Syndrome which is the UK’s second most common syndrome. Another wish they have is to increase the use of the wording “life limiting” when Trisomy 18 is diagnosed rather than “incompatible with life”.
