Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Everyone who knows will tell you that I love a challenge, and generally speaking, the crazier the better!
So, after recovering from a broken ankle last year, I felt it was time to take on my biggest challenge yet. I wanted something that would test me to my limits, both physically and mentally and I want to use this as an opportunity to raise money for charity.
I have chosen to fundraise for the Karen Hilltribes Trust because I am deeply passionate about the global inequalities in our world. It is a small, York-based charity working effectively to change this. They work with the Karen tribe of Northern Thailand, improving their quality of life through education, health and livelihoods. (You can check out more about the Karen Hilltribes Trust here http://www.karenhilltribes.org.uk/)
I will be cycling approximately 2,000 miles from York to Istanbul in 60 days, and hope to raise £1/m so £2,000 in total. If you would like to sponsor me on my adventure, we would be very grateful. Thank you so much for your support!!
