A cause dear to my heart as my lovely Mum has been suffering from Alzheimer’s for many years. More and more people are being diagnosed with no light at the end of the tunnel in terms of a cure. I have felt on many occasions that those with Alzheimer’s/dementia are forgotten by the powers that be as it is classed as a ‘social disease’. Whilst the Alzheimer’s society do as much as they can they do not always get the funding they need. I am going to do this challenge to help in a small way. I’m doing this not just as an individual but as a member of a team. My individual target is £300. Hopefully the team will raise much more.
