Story
On the 18th June 2022, I'll be taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society. The trek takes place on Father's Day weekend and I'll be walking in memory of my lovely dad ♥.
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge consists of climbing the summit of Pen-y-ghent (694m; 2,227 ft), Whernside (736 m; 2415 ft) and Ingleborough (723m; 2,372ft), and I aim to complete it in under 11 hours, depending how quickly my little legs carry me! The total circular route is approx. 25 miles long and is a total ascent of 1585m; 5200ft.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
