Story

Last year our family lost one of the most beautiful and special people you could ever wish to meet and we were lucky enough to have her as our best friend and Nan.

My amazing sisters and I wanted to do something for Nan who we sadly lost to Alzheimer’s and decided to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society by taking part in The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Saturday 18th June 2022.

Any money that we can raise for Alzheimer's Society will be going to an amazing cause that supports individuals and their families. Alzheimer's is a complex incurable form of dementia affecting millions of people worldwide. We are hoping to raise £300 each so any donation of any size is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much xxxxxxxxxx

…….Your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Those that truly love have roots that grow towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossoms have fallen from their branches, they find that they are one tree and not two.

Love you so much Nan xxxxxxxxxx

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
