Story

In 2014 one of my best friends was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Last year (2015) I became the first person ever to run from the New Forest (Southampton) to Land's End. I raised money for a cancer charity.  Although he is still fighting, he will be leaving behind to very young children. So it seems only right that my next fundraising step is to raise money for child bereavement. Like many children they tend to be forgotten about in their time of need.

So starting on 7th August 2017 the main big event I will be attempting once more to become the first person to run from North Wales to South Wales via Offa's Dyke and Glyndwr's Way paths. It's longer (291 miles) than 2015's event, it's more brutal (is that possible??)  and far more mentally challenging. Although my miles will remain for Phil my friend I will be fundraising for Child Bereavement UK.

Along the way I am participating in various events to help train my body once more for this hugely challenging event!
