Story
Three yoga teachers meet in the park over a bowl of soup. Sounds like the beginning of a joke but this is no joke! Far from it - there's devastation in India right now. The pandemic is peaking - daily COVID-19 cases are the highest on record for any country at any point during the pandemic - and the worst still to come. Families cannot get treatment for their loved ones and the lockdown continues to impact livelihoods, education and mental health.
As a thank you for your donation, Judy Hirsh Sampath, Anthea Sweet and Richard Kravetz are gifting you back a yoga and relaxation morning on zoom with a recording to follow.
Meanwhile in San Diego, our friends Agnete Sandahl Hybertsen, Haseya, Abby Bailow and Margie Sierra are holding an event on Sunday 23 May in Golden Hill Park - YogaBreath WorkReikiMeditationSound Healing
The British Asian Trust and our trusted local delivery partners are ready and waiting to help save and transform lives. But, we can only do this with your support and generous donations.
Please donate today. Together we can make a difference both right now and with what is to come for families affected by this unprecendeted crisis.
We hope to reach £830, the cost of one high flow oxygen concentrator that can help the most seriously ill patients.
Thank you!
