Nicole, Mandy, Debbie, Jamie, Julie, Suzy and Louise are all raising money for YMCA charity in Bournemouth by sleeping outdoors building our own shelter from cardboard boxes, on the night of 15th October. We have been given a target of £700 to raise as a team that will go towards the homeless support efforts the YMCA will do over this coming winter. We are a team working for YMCA family services in the local family hubs and are passionate about helping others in need. We are also usually very cold in the office in which we work so the reality of sleeping outdoors in a cardboard box in these cold temperatures is starting to set in! We can't imagine how scary that must be for those doing this every night. 

Please, please if you can donate, even the price of a coffee you would usually buy, it all adds up and we would be so very grateful for your support. Knowing we hit our target will be a great way to keep us going on the night!

Sleep Easys offer a fantastic challenge to individuals and organisations who wish to help raise awareness of the hardships of homelessness and raise funds for a charity that works to bring homelessness to an end. Participants, who can be individuals, groups or businesses, set themselves a fundraising target before wrapping up warm, building a cardboard shelter and then sleeping rough so others don't have to.
