Dave, Mandy, Daisy, Harry and Poppy will all be climbing off the edge of the 164ft Mersey Tunnel Ventilation Shaft to try and raise some much needed funds for the Bar Pro Bono Unit.

The Unit is a great little charity that works to facilitate barristers doing free work giving advice and representation to those who cannot afford it, legal aid does not cover but who desperately need it. They cover all areas of law and all of England and Wales.

Some of the types of cases they helped with last year included:
~grandparents seeking guardianship of their grandchildren whose parents could not provide a stable life for them
~families fighting for information disclosure and proper investigation into the tragic death of family members
~a school that was being forced to make a large group of teachers redundant although they were really needed,
~ many sad cases of homes being repossessed
and many, many others. 

Please dig deep and help us raise as much as we can for this cause (and because at least one member of the family is quite terrified at the thought of this!)
