A very good friend of mine has MS and because of the condition is unable to work. He has been amazingly strong for so long but recently due to many factors made an attempt to end his own life. Thankfully he is ok and still with us, and very importantly getting the help that he needs. It has been a massive shock to all his friends and family, and has definitely put things into perspective.

As a result I personally want to give something back. At work my friends were joking that I should grow my beard and not shave it for a year!. After thinking about it for a while I thought that if I could raise money for a worthwhile cause like the M.S Society than why not give it a go, for me personally it's going to be a challenge putting up with the itching and grooming etc.

My Goal is to grow a beard for a year! I last shaved on the 20th January 2020 and I'm not going to shave until 20th January 2021 with the only exception being my neckline. I will also be posting weekly updates along with any products I have been using. If there is anybody out there with tips and advice please feel free to share.
