Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Our JustGiving fundraising page.

By signing up to Light the Night Oxford City Walk, we are supporting Sobell House Hospice and helping them to 'light up a life'.

For 42 years, Sobell House Hospice has been providing specialist palliative care to adults with advanced, progressive illnesses and supporting families facing loss. Each year, they provide more than 3,000 people in Oxfordshire with the care they need on their ward, in their day centre, in the local hospitals and in the community.

The number of people in need of end-of-life care is increasing, so hospice care has never been more in demand. It is a need that is only going to increase.

Sadly, we recently lost a wonderful friend and fellow mum, Emma, to breast cancer. She was cared for by Sobell House at the end of her illness. We'd like to raise funds for the amazing support and care they give. The 19th July would have been Emma's 45th birthday and our walk will take place the day after on 20th July 2019.

Thank you for any donation you can contribute xx
