Story

On Saturday 6th June Year 3 pupils of Adcote school and their families will be attempting to climb Brown Clee Hill, Shropshire's largest hill, as part of the NSPCC Big Climb 2020. At 540m above sea level its one of the Clee Hills and is in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Beauty.

This is a team effort by the whole class and we will be raising money for the NSPCC, the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. They help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening. Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse. That’s why they’re there. That's what drives all their work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – they will fight for every childhood.
