Story
Thank you for visiting our donation page in aid of The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation and Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.
On 2nd September 2022 Yorkshire Cricket will be taking on the National 3 Peaks to raise much needed funds for both YCF and Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.
The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is the official charity and community arm of Yorkshire Cricket. They use the power and brand of sport to have a positive impact across Yorkshire, with a vision of creating "community without boundaries." The charity receives no core funding and relies on fundraising and donations to carry out its work.
Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice is in Oxenhope, near Keighley. As well as expert palliative care, they support people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. They work across Airedale, Wharfedale, Craven, and North Bradford. This is a charity close to the heart of the Foundation team as they have been helping a close colleague and their family.
The national three peaks challenge will see us take on the 3 highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales.
The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total assent is 3063 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, over a similar total walking distance.
