Hiyaaa everyone!

Together with some lovely people from Centrica, I’ve signed
up for the Edinburgh Marathon Virtual Relay 2020 to raise money for Carers UK.  

Having worked closely with the amazing team at Carers UK
this year, I’ve been really fortunate to learn about the fantastic work they do in helping support carers in our society.

Right now there are 6.5 million carers across the UK, who
provide unpaid support and care for their loved ones. Yet many of them are stretched to the limit – juggling care with work and family life, or even struggling with poor health themselves. And times are even more tough right now, with 70% of unpaid carers having to provide more care for their loved ones during the coronavirus outbreak.

That’s where Carers UK step in. They are there to listen, give expert information and advice that’s tailored to each unique situation. And the fantastic work they do doesn’t stop there, they champion for rights and are constantly finding new ways to help carers manage at home, at work or wherever they are.

On Saturday 28^th November, myself and a few lovely ladies will be running to show our support for carers! Any donations you can spare to such a worthy cause would be very much appreciated!
