My Name is Yasmine Smith and those of you who know me know that I have a special place in my heart for Japan. I was deeply saddened by the result of the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan and knew I had to help in some way. Seeing all those distressing images on the news and in the newspapers haunted me, watching an amazingly beautiful country face such a terrible result of nature.

I thought about many ways I could raise money but in the end I have decided to wear my kimono everywhere I go for a week, possibly even longer to raise every penny I can. My target is to raise £150 or more, I hope everyone out there will sponsor me and support me raising money for this important cause!
