Story
CLIMBING MT KILIMANJARO
On September 30th I will be flying to Tanzania where I will begin my challenge of trekking up the highest lone peak in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro. I will be climbing for 7 days through harsh climates and adapting to the extreme changes in altitude with the end goal of reaching the summit at 6,000 metres.
Those who know me will understand how far out of my comfort zone this expedition will take me. Whilst I am motivated to take on this challenge for my own personal development, a bigger motivation comes from the opportunity to raise money for Cancer Research UK, a charity very close to my heart.
Cancer affects millions of families, just like mine, every year. Donations are needed now more than ever as funding into research during the Coronavirus pandemic has been dramatically reduced. I would welcome any support to help me raise money for this great cause.
Any donations to my Just Giving page, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated. Thank you.
