We support children to learn, grow & become who they want to be

Story

We are Yasmin and Simone, 5 year old twins from St Michael's School in North London. We have just learned to read and you can sponsor us to try to read 100 books (between us) in just over two weeks. The money will go to Save The Children's Ebola Crisis fund, as part of a challenge by All Saints Sunday School - we thought we could help by raising money to send protective suits and to help children whose parents have died.

We started on Monday 13 October and will finish on Friday October 31. The books will be a mix of phonics books from school, fairy tales, chapter books and more. You can sponsor us - suggested donation from 1p to 20p per book. Update on Sunday 19: We have read 25 books!

Save the Children is working in Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia to help prevent the spread of the virus, by training health workers, teaching tens of thousands of people in communities about how to limit the risks to themselves and their families, distributing protective kits, and providing much needed medical equipment.

We will be collecting some money in cash but donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.
