Our Mission

In February 2017, Yasmeen and Khalid will climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania; the highest free-standing mountain in the world to raise money for Save the Children- Syrian Appeal for the children of Syria. 

Why Donate?

With 7.5 million Syrian children having been affected by the war and with more than13.5 million Syrians in need of financial aid, it's time for us to take action.  Save the Children has pre-prepared supplies and staff in some of the areas where families are being brought to, including food baskets and medical kits.  In addition, Save the Children prepares child protection and education programs for the children in Aleppo impacted by this violence.  Save the Children has helped more than 3.8 million people in the region —1.6 million inside Syria.

Syria's children can't wait — they desperately need our help now. If generous people like you support their relief efforts, then they can protect and provide for more girls and boys. Here is what your gift can provide:

• LEARNING $150 (About 60 OMR) teacher tools to keep kids learning

• PLAYING $200  (About 77 OMR) Games and toys so kids can be kids again

• SHELTER $250 (About 97 OMR) Household kit to keep a family safe and warm

Important Note

We will be paying for the entire trip ourselves so not one bit of the money will fund our trip.  100% of the donations will go to helping those children in need.
