The Akhirah Project are raising funds to establish a Sensory Room at the new FOBE Disability Support Centre. 12 challengers will trek Ben Nevis, the UK's Highest Mountain! 10 crazy guys will trek Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Mt. Snowdon in 24 Hours!

Story

On 16th Sep I will be challenging myself to trek the UK's 3 highest mountains, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon, all in under 24 Hours! It is a gruelling climb up & down, and travelling in between mountains which will be both physically and mentally exhausting.

I'm taking part with The Akhirah Project who are supporting FOBE to establish a state of the art Sensory Room at their new Disability Support Centre in Luton.

This specially designed space will have a range of equipment to help individuals stimulate, develop and engage their different senses. This will include lights, colours, sounds & sensory soft play resources all housed within a safe environment that allows the child using it to explore and interact without risk.

Not many spaces like this exist and it isn't easily available for families in Luton to access. FOBE will provide opportunities for hundreds of children to access support including the sensory room on a weekly basis. Please donate whatever you can and make a difference for our local disabled children.
