I was always into running: fields, beach, forest, you name it, I was running there! Kind of lost it at University but determined to get back into it this year. What a better way to do that by running the Great North Run! And if you are going to be running the GNR, might as well tie in your love for orthopaedics!

The Bone Cancer Research Trust is one of my favourite charities. More than an interest in orthopaedic oncology, I think what sold me was running with a jersey on that says #TEAMBONES.
