Together with my esteemed colleague Steve Middleton, On Sunday 6th October 2019, I plan to cycle 45-miles by participating in the Palace to Palace ride from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle raising money for ‘The Prince's Trust’. Steve will be undertaking the 90-mile route having successfully navigated the 45-mile route last year.

Health permitting I do one day hope to conquer the 90-mile
route but unfortunately not this year.

‘The Prince's Trust’ is a great charity that helps disadvantaged young people aged 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives. Last year they empowered over 58,000 young people to their lives around.

Many of the young people the Princes Trust help are in, or leaving, care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health issues, or have been in trouble with the law.

The Princes Trust has returned £1.4 billion in value to society through helping disadvantaged young people over the last 10 years alone.

Their free programmes give young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives and help them develop key skills while boosting their confidence and motivation so they can continue to dream big.
