Today is my birthday (at least in London it is already) and it would be great if you could donte to my 20 mile cancer walk as a gift to me. Doesn't have to be much, just $5/£5 would be great :) Thanks!!!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm participating in a 20 mile walk with my children. I think teaching children at a young age to give back is so essential, so we are training hard. Even though we are walking, we still have to train. Twenty miles is a long way!!!
The woman you see with me is my grandmother. She has melanoma, and this picture was taken before the cancer claimed her nose and cheeks. My grandmother, who I think is one of the most beautiful women in the world, walks around with a veil over her face now.
However, you don't have to donate for my grandmother. I don't expect you too. The sad things about cancer is that it affects everyone. Donate for your mom, your dad, your sister, your brother, your friend, or your friend's mom, dad, sister or brother. Everyone knows someone whose life has been affected by cancer in some way, and Maggie's Centres aim to provide free support to those affected directly, and their families.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
