Welcome to my JustGiving page for the 2022 London2Amsterdam charity bike ride on behalf of the Keframa School Build. 

On Saturday 30th April 2022 I will cycling all the way to Amsterdam (via Dover, Calais, Bruges, Antwerp & Rotterdam) in aid of the Keframa School Build. The Keframa School Build is a UK based charity that is building a secondary school in Northern Uganda and a charity that I proudly sit on the board for in my spare time. I have been involved with the charity since 2018 and since then have ran various fundraising initiatives including a London to Paris bike ride in 2019 in which we raised £36,000 for the first phase of the school build. After the success of the trip to Paris, I thought why not go even bigger next time. So this time, we're massively upping the mileage and also the number of people involved. 

Organizing an event of this size (as well as training for it) might sound a little crazy, but it's one that I am more than happy to take on due to the difference that the funds raised will make to transforming the lives of children and the community in Northern Uganda. The first phase of the school has been completed and we are now looking to complete phase 2 - which will see the school extended to accommodate more pupils. Covid-19 has of course had a big impact on education & livelihood in Uganda and we hope that as well as funds being raised for the extension of school, some of the funds can be directed to supporting the school in navigating through these difficult times. 

All donations are going directly to the charity as I am covering my personal costs by myself (like all other participants). Remember to choose Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer to enable an extra 25% to be added onto your donation - for free! 

A very generous friend of the charity has said they will donate an extra £500 to me should I hit or exceed the £500 mark, so please give whatever you can to help me get there!
