Yalda's Hair Donation for Little Princess Trust

Yalda's Hair Donation · 24 March 2022
Being middle eastern and having received great genes from my parents, I've always had long thick and healthy hair which grows quickly. My hair has always been incredibly important to me and has been a big part of my identity and I can not bare the thought of a child having to fight against an illness which in turn causes them to lose their hair! Since my hair grows long very quickly, I thought growing and donating it would be the least I can do to help add a bit of happiness back to the life of a child suffering with hair loss.
I used to have long blonde highlights in 2018 and in June 2019 I decided to cut it all off and start growing it afresh to eventually donate it to the Little Princess Trust. Since I cut it into a short bob in June 2019, I have taken great care of it, using little to no hair products and heat, with the goal of growing it as quick, healthy, and as long as possible to donate. As of today, March 2022 it has reached 20 inches!
Please join me in raising money for this incredible charity, every little helps. As mentioned on the official Little Princess Trust website, it costs £550 for them to make a wig, style and fit it free-of-charge for a child who suffers from hair loss.
The Little Princess Trust was set up in memory of Hannah, a little girl who lost her hair during chemotherapy treatment for cancer. Sadly, Hannah died in 2005 and her parents set up the charity to provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to children suffering hair loss.
