I have decided to take the RidgeWalk challenge not only for the walk itself but also for the fundraising aspect. The work that SENSE is doing should be supported and promoted widely. I wish the expertise and support provided by SENSE, and similar organisations, to the person and the family with dissability were available globally, because the improvement in their lives cannot be priced.
Having a sister, friends and now my dad with disabilities, I can tell that the challenges of being part of the society are much bigger than what our eyes can see or our brain can imagine, so anything that can be done, like in this case a donation, to improve their lives counts.
