Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

10 of our most adventurous employees are going to be tackling the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours on the 27th May.

Covering 42 kilometres and 3,000 meters of ascent, the courageous bunch will climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and then Snowdon. This is an extremely fast-paced challenge and one that will test the fitness levels of the people participating to the max!

This is considered one of Britain’s toughest outdoor challenges and will
require the up most amount of grit and determination.

We would like to use this challenge as an opportunity to raise money for
a fantastic charity, The UK Sepsis Trust (UKST).
Every year in the UK there are 150,000 cases of Sepsis, resulting in a staggering 44,000 deaths – more than bowel, breast and prostate cancer combined.  The UK Sepsis Trust (UKST) was established as a charity in 2012 with the objective of saving 12,500 lives every year. They are committed to changing the way the NHS deals with Sepsis, to increasing public awareness and supporting those affected by Sepsis.

Your support and donations would be greatly appreciated, we hope to
raise over £1,500 for this great cause.

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
