For a long time we are going every year on a one-week bicycle tour. Our current project is to ride from Glasgow to Istanbul. We started on July 31st 2010 and will continue the tour year over year exactly at the point where we arrived before. We expect to finish after 5,000 km / 3,000 miles on the Bosporus Bridge. All our supporters are invited to celebrate our arrival and a great finish with us in Istanbul in May 2022 !

On our tour through Europe we want to raise funds for Re~Cycle a fantastic charity, which collect secondhand bicycles and ship them to Africa. Your donation will help Re~Cycle to continue shipping bikes to enable people to lift themselves from poverty. The bikes are given to people in need so that children can travel to school, health workers reach remote regions and people gain access to employment and basic food and water suppliers. Bike mechanics and technicians are also trained at the projects, helping to provide local employment and promote this fun and sustainable form of transport across Africa ! Since 1998, Re~Cycle shipped more than 100,000 bicycles to Africa. For more details see http://www.re-cycle.org/.
