Story

We are Ginny Cooper and Cath Knight. We're supporting Ruby's 'Live Kindly, Live Loudly' Fund, a Special Named Fund at CCLG. Please help us to raise money for research into T-cell lymphoma and leukaemia in memory of 18-year-old Ruby Fuller.

This challenge is about friendship. We are three friends...Cath, Emma & Ginny. Since the age of four we have been firmly rooted in each others lives'.

Many moons ago we were despatched to The Wye Valley on a school trip. The magic and mystery of the place we enjoyed back then seems like the perfect location for Ruby's powerful legacy of 'Live Kindly, Live Loudly' to endure.

Last year  Emma organised a ‘Run for Ruby,' and Cath and I wanted a watery challenge. When Emma's daughter Bronwen spoke about the loss of her friend Ruby last summer, it was very poignant to us. We aim to SUP (stand-up-paddleboard) 100miles along this breathtakingly beautiful river in 5 days. We hope that 1,000 people may be able to sponsor us £10, our target is a massive £10k. This will fund research to continue to improve survival rates.

Ruby is a great inspiration, and we hope she will approve. To follow our journey...Instagram @wyesup xx
