WSCC Against Living Miserably

Ben Horne is raising money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

WSCC Against Living Miserably · 30 March 2022

We are the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and we're leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.

Story

In April we raised £1300 by WSCC are travelling 5224km, 1km for every person in the England and Wales who committed suicide in 2020.

Next we are hosting a T20 charity cricket match on Friday 19th August in memory of Dev Wright who sadly passed away earlier this year. The match will take place at WWSSC, everyone welcome with lots of fundraising for the amazing chosen charities.

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this by offering life saving services, provoking conversation and bringing people together to reject living miserably. From advice on our site, through to free, confidential chats with our helpline staff, online or on the phone, we’re here for whoever needs us, every day. No matter what. £8 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call
