This is a unique experience of sleeping out in the centre of Sheffield and we are up for the challenge.
The Cathedral Archer Project create a safe environment next to the Cathedral where participants will sleep under the stars for the night.
On the night, we and the other participants joining us that night will gain a small insight into sleeping rough. Everyone that takes part learns something new and has a bit of experience of what it is like to be sleeping on the streets just for one night.
In December 2017 the Wosskow Brown Sleep Out participants, along with other staff from the firm went to The Cathedral Archer Project Christmas Carol Service. It was here that they heard stories from users of the project and also got to meet some of the amazing volunteers and people that work for the charity. That afternoon they helped serve soup to people attending the service and the homeless people of Sheffield. One of the team members, Katie said "Of course I know homelessness is an issue, but you don't quite realise how bad it is until you experience it for yourself. The Christmas Carol service really opened by eyes, not only to the level of homelessness in Sheffield but how amazing The Cathedral Archer Project is at providing a safe place for them to come and get support & advice. There are services out there that we can help through either practical support or fundraising so that they can continue providing these services. Wosskow Brown thought the Sleep Out in March would be a great place to start"
