Hello everyone!
I've got your attention, now it's time to take your money ... and I need lots of it!
In September I'm going to be working to get more than 500 people off the street and to give them a new life with jobs, education, homes, family and good health. Your donation will directly affect these people and the results are that more than 70% of those involved do get a fresh start. These people get a real springboard into the future.
So, what exactly am I going to be doing? I will be one of just 30 global volunteers at the
2010 Homeless World Cup, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The charity takes a team of homeless people from 64 nations to Rio in September to raise money and awareness and to play football.
My job now is to raise a massive £2600 - this pays players, volunteers, equipment, venues and more and between now and September, I will be working hard to raise the money and take part in other events, like my first half marathon. I know I've got to earn the money!
