Story
There are more than 6.5 million unpaid carers in the UK looking after a loved one who is older, disabled or seriously ill. That's why We are doing the Carers UK 6.5 Challenge this February - to raise vital funds and awareness of the the unpaid carers' cause. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have an especially devastating impact on unpaid carers.
After months of caring around the clock - often without any outside support that might ordinarily come from family or care and support services - many carers are at the point of burn out. Now more than ever carers need our help. With your donations, we can continue to do vital work to make life better for carers. Visit the Carers UK website (www.carersuk.org/about-us/what-we-do) to see how your donations to our page help unpaid carers across the UK. Thank you for helping make life better for carers.
