Story
In June 2011 a small group of people from Royal Wootton Bassett embarked upon an ambitious project, to record, film and release a charity single and music video involving as many people as possible from their wonderful community. Although repatriations no longer pass through the town, the community of Royal Wootton Bassett are continuing to support families and soldiers by raising funds through sales of this single and video and will continue to remain in close association with military families.
The making and recording of the single involved the talents of over 250 local singers and musicians. The video features over 1000 Royal Wootton Bassett “extras” made up of townspeople and supporters from further afield including skateboarders, Zorro’s, the emergency services, the brownies, sports and youth groups, British Legion repatriation bikers and standard bearers.
We are raising funds for:
The Royal British Legio
SSAFA
The Undentable Trust (who are also administering the fund)
Combat Stress
