In 2008, we lost my father, Peter Bird, to Oesophageal Cancer. From diagnosis to his death was just over 6 months, during which time our family went through misery and loss.

My Uncle Fred was lost to Lung Cancer, my Aunt Jean had a number of different cancers - discovered too late to save. My Granddad was lost to stomach cancer. Other members of my family have had brain tumours removed and beaten breast cancer.

There are so many forms we need to research sooner!

This is my attempt to help prevent others having to endure what we did.
