For the last year COVID has prevented Woodcraft Folk from offering residentials, camps and large group experiences to children and young people across the UK. This fund will support a return to overnight stays, outdoor adventures, fun and friendship.

Story

We love camping at Biblins and spending time at Woodcraft Folk's other campsites and centres. These are places where we and other young people can have adventures, spend lots of time outside, learn new skills, become more independent and make new friends. Woodcraft Folk has not been able to run camps, residentials or other outdoor adventures due to COVID restrictions, they need our support to ensure they can stay open.  By raising funds for them, we can help them fully reopen to children and young people. Funds raised will ensure everyone can access the opportunity to visit our centres by: removing barriers to participation, offering discounts to Woodcraft Folk groups, training volunteers in Outdoor First Aid and residential planning, setting up an equipment fund, and investing in activities and programme opportunities. All this will help to increase and widen participation in Woodcraft Folk aims and principles.
