Story

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 23rd of June, Me, Dad, Fred and Nell, along with many family and friends will be taking part in The Kirkwood Hospice Midnight Walk in Memory of my Mum, Linda Woodhouse.

During my Mum's long battle with Cancer she was admitted into Kirkwood several times and every time was made to feel unbelievably comfortable and well looked after, she sometimes didn't want to come home she enjoyed it so much!!! The staff at Kirkwood, of which a lot are volunteers, are incredibly supportive and really are a credit to the Hospice. The hospice are always in need of extra money as they are privately funded by the Kirkwood Hospice Charity so any donation will make a huge impact.

Therefore as a family we decided that we wanted to do our bit to give back to Kirkwood and raise as much money as possible to help them continue their wonderful work for other people within the community.

Hopefully with your support, however big or small, we can raise a tonne of money for an amazing cause and in memory of a very special woman!

If reading our story has led you to want to join us on the Midnight Walk, then please don't hesitate to get in contact with us, it would be amazing to see as many familiar faces as possible so please sign up ASAP on the Kirwood Hospice Website.

Thank you for reading x
