All funds raised from the 2022 Women of Scotland Lunch will directly fund Bowel Cancer UK’s ‘Improving Surgery, Saving Lives Appeal’. This appeal will establish Scotland’s first-ever Colorectal Cancer Surgical Research Chair in partnership with the world-renowned Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd). This post will help to ensure that bowel cancer patients have access to surgical clinical trials, receive the best possible surgical treatment and over the longer term can benefit from improved surgical outcomes.
