Surrey Hills Challenge to help Transform prevent homelessness across Surrey

The Surrey Hills Challenge · 26 September 2021 ·
Seven Rotarians from Woking District Rotary Club are taking on The Surrey Hills Challenge to raise vital funds for Transform Housing & Support to help prevent homelessness in Surrey. We are taking part in the 5k challenge at this event: not perhaps the most demanding one but a shared endeavour for our mixed age group!
We are supporting Transform as it's a local charity dedicated to the prevention of homelessness in our area. It provides care and support to socially excluded and vulnerable people to enable them to go on and live independent and fulfilling lives.
Not only does it offer people a safe place to live but each client is allocated a Transform member of staff as a key worker to work with them to develop an individual support plan. The key workers provide stability and are dedicated to enabling each client to gain confidence, life skills, and access to education, training and employment opportunities as well as empowering them to live a happier and healthier life.
If you would like to show your support we would invite you to consider making a small donation of your own to this cause
