It's been a while since I've been able to get involved in a group cycle challenge, so am really excited to get back in the saddle and take on a new epic ride with a new group of railway friends and colleagues. 

This time it is the famous 'Coast to Coast' challenge, which over two days will see us ride from Whitehaven to Whitley Bay. Taking us through the Lake District and across the the Northern Pennines - with a gradient profile guaranteed to have us huffing and puffing.

We are doing this in support of Railway Children - an amazing charity that focuses on protecting vulnerable children in the UK, India and East Africa that have left home to escape poverty, abuse, violence and neglect. Every penny raised will be put to good use, and I speak from experience having supported the charity for a number of years and seen the amazing work they do for myself.
